Drum carders are amazing devices! Whether you are wanting to process raw or cleaned wool so that you can spin it, or whether you are looking to create your own custom blends, these fabulous contraptions are so much fun to play with and make working with fibres a dream!

The E-Carder is the one we all wish we had! No more turning the drum by hand — simply feed the fibres in and let the E-Carder do all the hard work for you. With the same 30cm wide drum as the Wide Drum Carder, this electric machine happily creates 100g batts with minimal effort. It features a foot pedal for instant on/off and a built-in reverse function for easy batt removal.

• Two exceptionally powerful motors for easy carding of fleece and sliver
• Infinitely variable speed control for both drums plus ratio control to vary the in-feed speed
• Acrylic safety covers over drums and drive belts, with a magnetic safety switch
• Stepped tooth non-slip drive belts with belt tensioners
• Additional on/off foot switch for hands-free fibre preparation
• Reverse mode rotates drums at 10% carding speed for gentle fibre removal
• Carding drums can be removed to clean bearings
• Manufactured in beautiful Silver Beech hardwood with a lacquered finish
