The Ashford Joy 2 is an absolutely delightful wheel to spin on, as well as being ideal for smaller spaces or for taking your spinning out and about with you. Beautiful to look at and loved by spinners everywhere, the Ashford Joy 2 is definitely a must-try wheel. The Ashford Joy 2 comes in a choice of single or double treadle. Why is it so popular?

This compact wheel is light weight (5kg/11lb) and portable with folding treadle(s), built-in lazy kate and carry handle. Fold and go – it can be carried easily in cars, as carry-on luggage in planes (check with your airline first as this varies from aircraft to aircraft) and takes up little space at home. Spin a variety of yarns using the four ratios. The stretchy drive cord does not require any adjustment as you change from one ratio to another and always maintains the correct tension. The wheel and flyer are mounted on ball bearings for effortless spinning. Smooth and quiet with treadles mounted on polyurethane hinges to allow a comfortable heel-toe action. The wheel comes assembled and lacquered, ready for spinning. Here at Ewe Felty Thing we want you to get the most from your Ashford Joy 2 spinning wheel, so included in your purchase price we will set up your wheel for you, supply you with a fibre pack to get you started, and provide you with an hour's tuition on your new wheel when you come to collect it from us.

The Boutique Package

You can also choose to upgrade to our boutique package for an additional £150. This includes everything you need to get you started on your spinning journey, and an extra hour's tuition on your wheel. We'll even throw in refreshments to make your day extra special. As your starter pack, you'll receive:

• 1.5kg (15 x 100g) of natural wool from different breeds to learn to spin on.
