Each kit contains 12 balls of Rowan Moordale in the colour Thai, as used in the photo, along with a printed copy of the Celtic Capedigan pattern — saving you £30 compared to buying the yarn separately. Everything is presented in a cotton drawstring bag.

The Celtic Capedigan is a one size cape with long cuffs. It is circular and has a glorious drape which looks amazing over your favourite outfits for those cooler months. Worked from the top down, the capedigan is a mix of stocking stitch and cables. Inspired by the intricate cable patterns of traditional Celtic designs, the Celtic Capedigan is a wonderful addition for any knitter.

Pattern Details

Gauge:
24 sts and 28 rows /4" in st-st on 3.75mm needles.
36 sts and 28 rows /4" in cable on 3.75mm needles.

Difficulty:
Intermediate.

You will also need:

• 1 pair of 3.75mm 60"/1.5m circular needles.
• Cable needle.
• 1 set of 3.75mm DPNs.
• Your choice of needles for completing the cuffs.
• Stitch markers. Lots. Should you choose to mark each end of each chart for the border section you will require approx. 130 in total.
• Sewing up needle.
• Spare yarn for the provisional cast on.
• (Optional) 3.75mm crochet hook for provisional cast on.
• Spare needle for holding stitches.
