Adapted from our popular Clyd scarf pattern, the Clyd XL uses two (or more!) balls of chunky yarn to create a very snuggly scarf.
This pattern is great for beginners, and Nikki has used our DK Clyd pattern to teach knitting on many times.
Our sample was knitted up using two balls of West Yorkshire Spinners Re:Treat Twist chunky yarn. Simply work with one ball until you finish the last row you can in that colour, and then start the next colour on the next row. This gives you approximately 1/2 and 1/2 colours on your scarf. You can add a 3rd ball/colour to make a longer scarf.
This scarf is perfect for beginners or those re-starting their knitting journey as it uses a simple repeated pattern of knits and purls to help you practice your stitches and learn to keep your edges straight. However, it is also a nice simple scarf for more established knitters to create too!
