Minatsu is an asymmetrical, long, thin triangle shaped shawl, perfect for summer days. Worked from side to side, increasing as you go. Three different sections make up the shawl, each using alternating rows of half treble and treble stitches. Eyelets are used to add interest and drape and picot stitches create points at the end of each section.
Yarn weight :: Light Fingering / 4 ply Gauge :: 22 stitches and 10 rows in alternating rows of half treble crochet and treble crochet worked flat to measure 10 cm/ 4” (after blocking note that pre blocked size will be much smaller) using 4mm /US size G/6 hook (or size needed to achieve gauge) Yardage :: 366m Finished shawl measures approximately 136cm/53.5"
