This gorgeously soft brushed alpaca yarn is made in Peru and features a lot of fluff!
Although Luca-S have it listed as an Aran weight as it works up well using 4.5mm needles, it is probably more comparible in thickness to a 4ply or dk, but with extra fluff. Not quite as fine as the mohair/silk lace blends you find, but not too much thicker either!
Hold it together with another yarn for extra floof and warmth, or make something utterly snug and lovely with it on it's own as a dk or aran weight yarn.
