These stunning kits have been hand dyed by Desiree of Abercairn Yarns, specially for the Pelydr Tesni shawl kits.
Each kit comes in a cotton drawstring bag and includes a printed copy of the pattern, 6 x 20g mini skeins and 1 x 100g main skein.
The yarn is 75% merino, 25% nylon and is 425m/100g.
The colourways available are:
Tesni - Dyed to reflect the original colourscheme of the shawl. Warm purples and yellows.
Eriskay - Turquoises, purples, pinks and golds, think rusts and petrol.
Findhorn - bright oranges and purles, like a vibrant sunset.
Up Helly Aa - fiery red and deep green, teal and terracotta, inspired by the Up Helly Aa festival.
Thistle - Soft purples and greens to match the national plant of Scotland, where Desiree dyes her yarn.
Artimis - Turquoises, lilacs and pinks, almost like a deep mermaid pallete.
The Pelydr Tesni Pattern is a lacey shawl knitted flat from side to side with panels of single colour lace and variegated stocking stitch.
Inspired by beams of sunlight, this shawl is easy to wear and can be modelled like a scarf or as a wrap.
