The Simply Snug Shawl is a simple repeating pattern of lace stitches and can be created in any weight of yarn. The sample was worked up using 3 x 100g skeins of hand dyed 4ply singles and 3 x 50g skeins of hand dyed mohair/silk lace, held together and using 5.5mm, 80cm circular needles.

This shawl has been designed to work with pretty much any yarn. I would suggest doing a gauge swatch with your chosen yarn and using a needle size larger than is recommended to give a good drape. Make sure you are happy with the look of your fabric before continuing.

You can stop knitting at any point in the pattern and cast off on any right-side row using either a standard bind-off or the more decorative picot bind-off described in the pattern, depending on your style preferences.
