Ignite your next project with this hand-dyed colourway, inspired by the ancient flame of the Welsh dragon. Across our bases, the fire burns differently — on our British merino yarns, warm terracotta and burnished copper glow like embers settling into ash, while our superwash bases catch the full blaze: vivid crimson, molten amber, and flashes of gold dance together with all the drama of dragonfire in full flight. Every skein is unique, hand-dyed with care in our Conwy studio.

Dyed on a 100% British Merino base, hand dyed in-house by Nikki here at Ewe Felty Thing.

This yarn is a 350m/100g skein and is made from 100% British merino. The merino is 21 micron and therefore very soft, with no itchiness or scratchiness next to the skin. The yarn has lovely stitch definition and can be readily used in any pattern using a Light DK/Sport weight yarn. The merino is mulesing-free and comes from South America.

Care Instructions: Due to the hand-dyed nature of our yarns, we recommend hand washing.
